Search

The search function allows you to search for stocks, which may not be listed in the predefined categories. The search entry can either be the Stock Code / Stock Name. The search entry may be the exact keyword or part of the keyword e.g. you may search the code "006" instead of "0065" if you are not sure of the Stock Code or "E" instead of "EFORCE". If you have entered a part of the keyword e.g. "006", all stocks with stock codes beginning with 006 will be listed as the search result

Enter the whole Stock Name e.g. EFORCE

Note

If the Fast Quote panel is in view and you have searched for an exact Stock Name e.g. "EFORCE", the search result will be displayed in the Fast Quote panel

If the Fast Quote panel is in view and you have searched for a partial stock name, e.g E, the search result will not be displayed in the Fast Quote panel but in the Stock Quotations panel. If you double click on a selected stock in the Stock Quotations panel, the selected stock detail will then be displayed in the Fast Quote panel

Note

Only alphanumeric characters such as A-Z and 0 – 9 are allowed and will generate search results. Symbols such as !@#$%^& and space within the Search criteria will not generate any search results

If you want to search from the middle of a stock name, you will have to place a " * " followed by the possible alphabets in the Stock Name searched for e.g. "*-WA" whereby the search results can be A&M-WA, AFFIN-WA, etc
