Favourites

Favourites is a customizable folder for you to categorize your stocks into various categories for ease of view You may have a maximum number of 100 folders with a maximum number of 30 stocks per folder You may also view the stocks of predefined favourites folder such as Most Active Counters (Volume), Least Expensive Stock, etc

To add a favourites folder, select the Organize Favourites icon
Click <New>
A folder with the default name will be created
You can either use the default favourites name e.g. My Favourites 1 or change the folder name e.g. Main Board Counters, etc

To select the stocks to be added into the favourites folder, click <Add>
Select the stocks by selecting the checkboxes of the stocks
The status of the folder is displayed i.e. how many more stocks can be selected to be added into the selected folder before it reaches the maximum value

The <Select> button allows you to select a range to stocks to be added into your favourites folder e.g. the range of 1 to 22, etc
The range of stock that you have selected will automatically be selected as can be seen in the figure below

Note

You can only select 1 range set. To continue adding stocks into the selected favourites folder, you must add the stocks by selecting the checkboxes beside the stock names

You may also add a stock to your favourites folder while viewing the quotations of the stock by clicking on the Add to Favourites icon
A list of your favourites folder will be displayed e.g. as can be seen below, only one folder is available as you only have one favourites folder called My Favourites 1
Select the folder and your stock will be added into that selected folder

There will be an indication whether the stock has been added successfully or not as can be seen in Figure 57 and 58

Note

The selected Stock cannot be added into the selected Favourites folder if the stock already exist in the selected Favourites folder

Stocks also cannot be added into the selected Favourites folder if the selected folder already contains 30 stocks

To remove a counter from the favourites folder, you can either select the Organize Favourites icon , hightlight the folder that contains the counter to be deleted, select the stocks and then click

Note

You may only select one stock to be removed at any one time

Or you can go into your Favourites folder, select the stock to be deleted and then click the Remove from Favourites icon

The counter will be removed from your Favourites folder list

To delete a favourites folder, select the Organize Favourites icon select the folder to be removed i.e. highlighted in blue and click
Click to confirm deletion
To rename the folder, select the folder to be renamed and click
Type the name of the folder preferred and click to reflect changes
