Market
Summary
Displays a summary of the market condition at the selected point of time
You can see the summary of the whole market, and the summary of the 3 main boards i.e. Main
Board, Second Board and Mesdaq Board
- To view the market summary, select Summary from the Market drop down menu
- You will be able to see an overview of the market condition from the pie chart.

- To view the stocks e.g. stocks under the Second Board which, prices are going up, click on
the green portion of the pie chart under the Second Board or click on the green underlined
figure e.g. 44
Summary by Sector
Displays the summary of the market categorized by sectors i.e. Trading/Services, Technology, etc
- To view the market summary listed by sectors, select Summary by Sector from the Market drop down menu
- You can also click on the Summary by Sector icon of a selected board at the Summary section

- To view the stocks under the selected sector e.g. stocks in the whole market which, prices
are going up, click on the green portion of the pie chart or click on the green underlined

Intra Day Detail
Displays the charts and detail for a selected sector, the top gainers and top losers of that sector
- To view the intra day detail of a board, in the Summary section click on the Detail Info
icon of the board
- To view the intra day detail of a sector, in the Summary by Sector section, double click on
the selected sector

Trade Monitor
Displays the latest transactions being executed every minute every second from the moment the
trade monitor is being viewed.
The more transactions and the faster transactions executed is displayed, the more active the stock
market is.
There is a timer i.e. Duration on the top of the screen which calculates the duration the trade
monitor has been opened
You can select the stocks to be monitored e.g. you only want to monitor the Second Board or
Mesdaq Board, etc
- To monitor the stock market or the selected stocks of a board, select Trade Monitor from
the Market drop down menu
Note
For stocks contained in any of your Favourites folder, there will be a heart shape
displayed beside the stock name
The Trade Monitor is able to display 72 monitored transactions and will continue from the start
until the end repetitiously

- To customize the stocks to be monitored, click the Options icon
- To view all stocks, select All Stocks
- To view selected stocks, select Stocks in Selected Group and select the boards or any of
your Favourites folder e.g. select only Main Board Stocks to monitor stocks from the Main
Board only
- You can also use the highlight function to highlight a stock if the last done volume reaches a
limit that you want by checking the checkbox available and entering the total lot volume for
the stock to be highlighted

Announcement / News
In addition to viewing the stock quotes, Live Quotes provides you with comprehensive news, which
includes General Announcement, Financial Summary, Entitlement, Trading of Rights, Changes in
Boardroom, Changes in Shareholder and Shares Buy Back
The latest announcement / news displayed is arranged according to the current date and the latest
time
- To view the announcement / news, select Announcement / News from the Market drop
down menu

- To view the entire announcement / news, select the Table of Contents icon
- You will be able to see all the announcements / news under each category by selecting the
category you want

- To view the full announcement / news details, click on the Announcements / News title

- To search for an announcement / news, click on the Search icon
- Type in the word(s) to be searched
- Specify the search criteria’s i.e. you can either search by Stock Code, Stock Name,
Company Name or Announcement Title
- Specify the date range of the news, whether the news is 1 week old or few months old
- Specify the category that the announcement may be in
- Click <Submit>

- There may be one or more results if there are more than one match depending on the search
criteria specified
